I stayed at this hotel with two of my friends for four nights and for sure this place gave us a lot to talk about and remember, not in a good way though. The best thing is the location, it is perfect, very near to train station, shopping and e.t.c. The staff was also nice and friendly. First at arrival and to our surprise there was no breakfast available at the hotel, we were sure it said when we booked that we were able to buy breakfast at the hotel so that was a huge let down. Also we understood when we booked that there was free WI-FI in our room but it wasn´t. Then to the room… our room was incredible dirty, garbage from previous guests behind beds, the carpet was filthy and worn out, so much that we bought our selfs slippers so we wouldn´t have to step on it with bare feet, the fan in the bathroom was disgusting with I guess years of dust in it and I could go on and on. The TV didn´t work, handles fell of drawers when opened e.t.c. and overall everything in the room was worn out. Then there was the noise….a bar below the room on the street kept us awake in nights, extremely loud music and then we had to listen to the couple next room have fun…say no more. In the public staircase we noticed cigarette stub on the carpet on our first day and on the fourth day it was still there!!! But like I said, we had a great time in Birmingham and the location of the hotel was fantastic but I´d never stay at this place again…
